With the success of Facebook, Twitter and MySpace, I realized that internet users want to connect, share their views, tell their stories, and photos online. We decided to build a community right here dedicated to promoting Iligan City. 

We started Iligantoday.com because we wanted to share our love for Iligan with the world. We love to tell you about the place we grew up in and would love to help you prepare your memorable trip to Iligan. But, there is still so much we like to add to this website. So with your help and experiences, we will put Iligan on the map. 

You are welcome to ask Iligan related questions.

We will answer them as soon as we possibly can. Other readers are also welcome to make comments on your story and offer more tips. 

So how does it work? 

To add your story, photos, and questions about Iligan is easy. 

1. Write a title that describes your story or question. 

2. Then you tell your story, or ask your question.

3. Upload a photo if you have one. Or, I will add a photo if I have one that fits your story. 

4. Write your name and location. You do not have to but we highly recommend that you do. We want you to be recognized as a contributor. There is no reason to be shy at all. 

5. Then submit your contribution. 

Note: Not to worry, you will have a chance to edit your page on the next page. Just click on the text. 

Your email is optional, but we highly recommend it. 

Why? Usually, you story will appear on the same page as the submission form. 

Sometimes, we find it necessary to move it to another page to make it fit better. 

If you set the notifications to get the link of your submission emailed to you, you can follow comments from other readers. 

Your email will not appear on the website. We only use it to tell you when and where your story is posted.

Your story will have its own page on Iligantoday.com website. Tell your family and friends your URL and don’t forget to tell them you wrote it.
