Travel to Iligan Choose the Best Way!
When you travel to Iligan, you can either book your own flight or you can call a travel agent.

Connecting to Cebu City, Philippines
If you’re traveling to Iligan via Cebu, you can continue by air to Cagayan de Oro or by Super Ferry directly to Iligan. The ferry is an overnight trip, a cheaper option than flying and a good choice if you're not in a hurry or if you want to visit some friends or relatives in Cebu before going to Iligan. Your connecting flight from Manila to Cagayan de Oro is approximately one hour. You must fly into Lumbia Airport in Cagayan de Oro because Iligan does not have an airport. A new airport is being built between Iligan and Cagayan de Oro, come back here for updates.
When you arrive in Cagayan de Oro you will have to take the bus, taxi,or jeepney. This final leg of travel to Iligan will take another 1-1/2 hours.
While the bus is certainly the cheapest option, it's a bit of a hassle. For starter, you need to take a taxi or jeepney to the Cagayan de Oro Bulua Bus Terminal. A typical taxi fare is about 300 pesos, any more than that is high.
So, there you have it - taking a taxi or jeepney from the airport to Iligan is just so much easier!
